During the time of Imam Reza (AS), translations of Sanskrit and Syriac into Arabic and Persian were made. Because they needed to know their ideas for dialogue with other people. Astronomy and medicine books were not a problem in the translations, but in the philosophical and metaphysical issues translators could not provide proper translation to their readers. Because Western discussions contradicted Muslim beliefs, many western terms were not equivalent. The translation work included works from other languages and books outside the Muslim world. The present article responds to this questionnaire by descriptive-analytical method. What are the effective features of the translation movement in the era of Imam Reza (AS)? The most important results of the translation movement were the development of Islamic civilization through confrontation with the concepts of Syriac, Iranian, Greek, Hindi, and Egyptian civilizations. Following the impressive and successful conquests of Muslims outside the Arabian Peninsula, Islamic culture was united with ancient civilizations and many of their scientific papers were transmitted to the Islamic community. The most significant achievement of this event is the development of Islamic civilization نهضت ترجمه از تحولات و جریان‌های فکری و فرهنگی مهّم در عصر امام رضا بوده است که قبل از دوران هارون‌الرشید آغاز شده بود، این نهضت یک فضای باز فرهنگی و مهّم را در جهان اسلام ایجاد کرد که در این زمینه مترجمان مسیحی، ایرانی و یهودی ترجمه آثار زبان‌های یونانی، رومی، ایرانی و بعضاً هندی را به زبان عربی برای ورود به جهان اسلام انجام می‌‌دادند همچنین در زمان امام رضا(ع) ترجمه ‏هایی از زبان سانسکریت و سریانی به عربی و فارسی صورت گرفت. زیرا برای گفتگو با سایر فرق لازم بود عقاید آنها را بدانند. در باره کتاب های ستاره شناسی و پزشکی مشکلی در ترجمه‏ ها پیش نیامد اما در مسائل فلسفی و مابعدالطبیعه مترجمان نمی‎توانستند ترجمه مناسب به خوانندگانشان ارائه دهند. زیرا مباحث غربی در تضاد با اعتقاد مسلمانان بود ، همچنین بسیاری از اصطلاحات غربی معادل نداشت. کار ترجمه شامل آثار دیگر زبان‌ها و کتب خارج از جهان اسلام نیز می‌شد. مقاله حاضر به روش توصیفی- تحلیلی به این سئوال پاسخ می دهد شاخصه های تأثیرگذار نهضت ترجمه در عصر امام رضا(ع) چگونه بوده است؟ از مهّم‌ترین نتایج نهضت ترجمه، توسعه تمدن اسلامی از طریق رویارویی‌ و آمیختگی با مفاهیم تمدن‌های سریانی، ایرانی، یونانی، هندی و مصری بود. به دنبال فتوحات چشمگیر و موفقیت‌آمیز مسلمانان در خارج از محدوده جزیرة‌العرب، فرهنگ اسلامی با تمدن‌های کهن درهم آمیخت و بسیاری از‌ مواریث‌ علمی مکتوب آنان به جامعه اسلامی منتقل شد. مهّم‌ترین دستاورد این رخداد، توسعه تمدن اسلامی می باشد. /downloadfilepdf/1658414
