In this research, using a trait-based approach in personality and relying on the 5-factor theory of McCarry and Costa, bringing witnesses of examples of the behavior and characteristics of Shams from various sources to the characterization of Shams. In this research, What was shams What were his psychological characteristics? How was it behaving in different situations? Etc. are answered. Since Shams\'s contradictions are contradictory and due to his inner and epistemic conditions, as well as the variability of his behavior in relation to external situations, one can not definitely comment on his personality traits. That is, he has personality traits such as: modest, heart, rest, loving, lawful, task-oriented, hard-working, devotionally free. بررسی شخصیت روانی شمس تبریزی می‌تواند بسیاری از گره ها،ابهام ها و پیش داوری ها را درمورد شخصیت وی حل کند. شخصیت شمس تبریزی مانند بسیاری از بزرگان و عارفان، شخصیتی غیرعادی، مبهم و غیرقابل پیش‌بینی بوده است و در این شکی نیست که کسی نمی‌تواند او را آن طور که هست بشناسد و این پژوهش گامی در جهت شناخت بخشی از ویژگی‌های او بوده و نمی‌توان گفت با انجام چنین پژوهشی به تمامی ویژگی‌های شخصیتی او پی خواهیم برد. و این امر برای شخصیتی چون شمس غیرعادی نیست. در این پژوهش با استفاده از رویکرد صفات در شخصیت و با تکیه بر نظریه ی صفت ۵ عاملی مک کری و کاستا با آوردن شاهد مثال‌هایی درباره ی رفتار و ویژگی‌های شمس از منابع مختلف به واکاوی ویژگی‌های شخصیتی شمس پرداخته ایم.در این پژوهش به سوالاتی چون شمس که بود؟ و شخصیت وی چه ویژگی‌های روانشناختی داشت؟ و در موقعیت های مختلف چگونه رفتار می‌کرد؟ و غیره پاسخ داده می شود. از آنجایی که رفتارهای شمس دارای تناقض است و با توجه به حالات درونی وعرفانی وی و همچنین متغیر بودن رفتارش متناسب با موقعیت های بیرونی، نمی‌توان به‌طور قطعی درباره ویژگی‌های شخصیتی وی نظر داد.اما با همه ی این تفاسیر دستاوردهای این پژوهش نشان می‌دهد که ویژگی‌های شخصیتی شمس تبریزی در این نظریه به این صورت هست: در مؤلفه‌های برون گرایی و روان رنجور خویی شخصیت شمس تبریزی در میانه پیوستار قرار می گیرد یعنی از ویژگی‌های هر دو قطب عامل برونگرایی و روان رنجور خویی برخوردار است. در عامل های گشودگی و توافق و وظیفه‌شناسی مشخص شد که شخصیت شمس مطابقت بیشتری با این عامل ها دارد. یعنی دارای صفات شخصیتی مانند: متواضع، دل رحم، رک گو، دوست داشتنی، قانونمند، وظیفه‌شناس، سخت کوش، فداکارو آزاد منش. /downloadfilepdf/1776009
