Since the designation of the culprit requires extensive technical studies with complex political and international dimensions, it is beyond the reach of this research. In the meantime, we intend to give a glimpse of the rights and demands of the survivors of the victims of the accident by expressing the coverage of the maritime insurance. Hence, in the present paper, the insurance coverage and ship owner\\\'s liability conditions generally expressed, and then the consideration of financial compensation due to the Sanchi incident specifically addressed. It should be noted that in the present study, in addition to the library method and the study of related Persian and non-Persian sources, as far as possible, we arranged some meetings with experts in the field of shipping and maritime claims and used their knowledge and information. Unfortunately, due to the geopolitical importance of this issue, we were deprived of access to documents that could be cited in this area, but we tried our best to provide an adequate article on the compensation and claims of it. جان باختن تعداد زیادی از هم‌وطنان عزیزمان در نفتکش سانچی، سیلی از ابهامات را درخصوص علل وقوع این فاجعه، ارزیابی امدادرسانی‌ها و چگونگی مطالبه خسارات؛ در ذهن افکار عمومی ایجاد نمود. از آنجاکه تعیین مقصر نیازمند بررسی‌های گسترده‌ی فنی و دارای ابعاد پیچیده سیاسی و بین‌المللی است، از حوصله این پژوهش خارج است. در این میان قصد داریم با بیان پوشش بیمه‌های دریایی نیم نگاهی به حقوق و مطالبات بازماندگان جانباختگان آن حادثه داشته باشیم. از این رو در مقاله حاضر پوشـش بیمـه‌ای و شرایط مسئولیت مالک کشتی به طور عام را بیان داشته و پس از آن بررسی غرامت مالی ناشی از حادثه سانچی، به طور خاص مورد توجه قرار گرفته است. لازم به ذکر است در پژوهش حاضر علاوه بر روش کتابخانه‌ای و مطالعه منابع فارسی و غیرفارسی مرتبط، تا حد امکان با متخصصین حوزه کشتیرانی و دعاوی دریایی ملاقات کرده و از دانش و اطلاعات ایشان بهره برده شده است. هرچند متاسفانه به دلیل اهمیت ژئوپلیتیک این موضوع از دسترسی به اسناد قابل استناد در این حوزه محروم گشتیم؛ اما تمام سعی خود را در ارائه مقاله‌ای درخور در رابطه با غرامت موجود و نحوه مطالبه آن، نموده‌ایم. /downloadfilepdf/2704832
